TABS was formed in 1985 in Paignton to provide the smaller business, initially in Torbay, with the type of management information usually available only to the larger business.

A large number of businesses, throughout the South West, ranging from medium sized manufacturing operations through to the smaller shops, hotels and care homes now use TABS services to provide regular monthly information relative to their business as well as for the annual accounts and resulting taxation.

TABS provide comprehensive Bureau services in addition to the services normally undertaken by accountancy practices.

Barry Coleman, TABS technical Partner, has had over 40 years experience in the profession including roles as Office and Training Manager to a major West Country practice before forming TABS with his wife Gill who is responsible for the administration of the practice.

Barry is a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and from which TABS has a licence to practice.

Today, TABS is recognised as a business providing essential services to the local and more distant community and takes an active part in the services offered by Business Link.
